Abir Faraj, DDS
Dr. Abir Faraj DDS graduated from University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, one of two dental schools in Michigan in 2003. Since then, she’s started her own practice in Novi, Mich. In 2005, worked to expand her practice. As a dentist, or dental surgeon, she loves providing services that can help patients improve their dental health and actively works to keep her patients from oral diseases. Married to a pharmacist, she enjoys taking care of her two daughters and son, maintaining her health and fitness standards, bike riding, taking long walks, reading and traveling.

I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School in 1990 as a certified dental hygienist. I have been in the office for 26 years, working alongside Dr. Faraj to provide a complete oral care plan for patients. I focus on preventing oral diseases or cavities, prioritizing oral health by educating patients about good oral hygiene practices.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, yard work and traveling. Also spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.

Welcome to our practice! I am one of the friendly faces that you will see as you enter our office. I have been working with Dr. Faraj since 2015 and in the dental field for over 25 years while still loving every minute of it. I love helping people achieve the smile that they deserve! I am always happy to help with any questions or concerns about an upcoming appointment, bill or dental insurance questions. It’s important to me that each of you feel comfortable and at ease while you’re here in our office. Our team works together to give our patients world class service!
In my free time I enjoy deer hunting, fishing and camping. I also love spending time with my husband of 24 years and our 3 boys and 6 beautiful grandchildren.

Hello, I’m Desiree’ and you will see me both, at the front desk and assisting patients in the back. I went to school to be a dental assistant. I will help you schedule your appointments and answer any questions you may have over the phone or while in office. I also help the doctor and the hygienist clinically in the back. I enjoy working with staff and interacting with all the patients. We work in such a positive environment an we all work extremely well together to provide you with the best care and service. Our staff is warm and inviting.
In my free time I love going on adventures and doing crafts with my boyfriend and our daughter.

Hi, I’m Aleks! I’m a dental assistant at Novi Family Dentistry and I love giving world class treatment in our state-of-the-art office. I am currently studying to become a Dental Hygienist. I look forward to meeting all of you soon.
